SME Regional Networking Event

Come and meet Dr Mary O'Hanlon,  who was a doctor volunteer at both the London 2017 World Athletic Championships and the Birmingham 2018 World Indoor Athletic Championships.  Hear her take on working within a multi-disciplinary medical team at a major sporting event which includes Soft TIssue Therapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors and Phsyiotherapists supporting Athletes in competition.

Mary originates from Alnwick in Northumberland where she attended the Duchess High School, before going on to study medicine and work as an RAF doctor.  She is now Assistant Professor in Sports and Exercise Medicine, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences at Nottingham University Hospital.
