Inflammation is involved in nearly all musculoskeletal issues (including joint pain, muscle soreness, many neuropathies, chronic pain, and more). But working with inflammation can be a real puzzle: sometimes hands-on work can clearly help; other times, massage or bodywork can worsen inflammatory reactions. What makes the difference? And, how does inflammation cause pain? Can our emerging understanding of pain and the brain inform our work with inflammation as well? Join popular presenter Til Luchau as he helps clarify inflammation’s complexity and offers practical suggestions for your work. Based on input from active researcher, recent studies, and expert clinicians, topics will include:
    - Understanding inflammation’s progression and resolution
    - Types of inflammation
    - Pain, the brain, and inflammation
    - A toolbox overview of specific techniques, goals, and strategies for working with different types of inflammation.
